Barbara Shaibu

I'm a junior in the College of Arts & Science, majoring in Philosophy, Politics, & Economics. This is my second year as a member of 4A. I am a proud member of 4A and appreciate the organization because it provides an exposure to rich African-American art. Also, 4A gives me an opportunity to work with and meet talented students. 4A has helped me to discover my creative edge and express myself through the arts. I am committed to 4A because I know that it plays a vital role in my artistic development.

Chidi Ahaghotu

I am a senior from Silver Spring, MD studying Biomedical sciences in the School of Engineering. My ultimate plan is to become a physician and possibly conduct scientific research. I joined 4A during my sophomore year after participating in the production Five on The Black Hand Side. I am currently a member of the general body and help with the marketing of the plays.

Kristin Myers

Kristin Myers is a senior in the college studying English and French. This is her third year in 4A. She is looking forward to this school year's performances and the additions of all new members. She hopes to see all you guys at the Fall and Spring productions!!

Makeda Farley

Makeda Farley is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences and this is her second year with 4A. Her major is Philosophy, Politics and Economics with a concentration in Politics. She began working with 4A during Soul Expressions and truly enjoys working with the group. She is also involved in Ase Saturday Academy and African Rhythms Dance Troupe. Makeda would like to shout out her wonderful sisters who inspire her and were the first people to watch her perform. YOOP!!

Jenna Lewis

Jenna is a junior in the School of Nursing from Detroit, MI. She adores the Philadelphia art Museum (especially now that she knows she can pay what she wants on Sundays!) I love the arts and am especially drawn toward Spoken word, short stories, photography, and of course, theatre! Live theatre provides a break from her highly structured life of science and health care and 4A is the best respite there is!" Jenna Lewis is 4A’s wonderful treasure and was assistant producer in the Spring ’09 show.

Samaria Ship

Samaria is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, studying English and Film, with a minor in Theater. Her hometown is Los Angeles, California. She has been a proud member of 4A for many years and holds the positions of Marketing Director and Fall ’08 Producer in the organization. Her pastimes include writing, dining out, watching classic films, and attending theater productions, when time allows.

Mulu Habtemariam

Mulu Habtemariam, originally from Portland, OR, is a sophomore here at the University of Pennsylvania as a member of The College of Arts & Sciences. With an undecided major, he intends to focus on an undergraduate study that will catapult him into law school. Last semester Mulu decided to take a break from acting to work as the Sound Assistant. Word is Bond!

Morgan Roper

Morgan Roper is a senior in the college enjoying her third full year as a member of 4A. First semester of her sophomore year, she played the beautiful, Academy award winning Actress "Althea" in Soul Expressions, the Fall 2008 collaboration with Inspiration. For the Spring term, she went behind the scenes and was put in charge of Set Design. It was one of the most difficult and dangerous experiences of her life and she still isn't sure who thought it wise to give her control of a committee that uses power tools. Morgan is currently the Vice President of 4A.

Mark Smith

Mark Smith is a junior in the Wharton school. He's from the great state of Ohio, where he was born in Columbus on a cold day in March. He performed in the fall production of "The Sirens" as Bobby and is now a member of 4A. Mark also performed in several musicals in middle school and high school. He plays the bass and likes listening to R&B music. He's excited about working with 4A for the next couple years both acting and doing behind the scenes work as a crewmember.

Justin Clouden

Justin Clouden is senior at the University of Pennsylvania, studying management and entrepreneurship in the Wharton School. He has been a member of 4A since his sophomore year, playing Slim in Five on the Black Hand Side. Justin is an avid fan of theatre and loves being on the stage. He hopes to act until the day he finally loses his voice for good. When he’s not on the stage, he enjoys Latin American culture and plays rugby with both the Penn Rugby Club and the EPRU Collegiate All-Star Team. He would like to thank his parents and 4A for always being so supportive.

Christina Grayson

Christina is a senior Urban Studies major from Cresskill, New Jersey. When she's not buried in books pondering the social and economic puzzles of the world, she loves to let loose onstage and let her eight years of acting experience shine. Counting the role of Gail in last spring's production of "Five on the Black Hand Side" as one of her favorite parts, Christina sends love to all her 4A brothers and sisters and is proud to be part of such a hard-working and fun-loving family. "Jive!"
