November 4: Active Minds Java Jive Coffee House (8-11 pm)
Active Minds, in collaboration with Sparks Dance Team, presents the 3rd Annual Java Jive Coffee House at the Kappa Sig Fraternity House on Locust Walk. The night will feature several Penn A Capella and performing arts groups. Food and beverages will be served.
November 8-12: Mental Health Awareness Week
Active Minds will host a series of events throughout the week that encompass several different aspects of mental health.
November 9: (6 pm) Academic panel on 'tagging system'
Several representatives from the student body and administration will address the issues involved in mobilizing a tagging system to identify students "at risk" of mental illness and distress
November 10: (8 pm) Movie Night
Screening of a popular movie in Houston Hall of Flags that deals with mental illness and the various issues arising from it. Discussion and reflection to follow.
November 11: Health Fair at Pottruck (2-6pm)

Presentation and Discussion (7 pm)
Steve Siegel and Paul Wolpe will discuss the therapeutic and ethical implications of anti-psychotic, subcutaneous implants. Questions and discussion will follow.
