Explore issues of urban poverty and homelessness in Baltimore with a variety of shelters, soup kitchens, and rehabilitation programs. Our Daily Bread is an organization that assists the city's less fortunate by providing hot meals to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and homeless citizens. The Helping Up Mission organization serves about 400 men each day, guiding and aiding those who are struggling to recover from addictions.

Also, delve into the multi-faceted issue of environmental protection and restoration with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. This organization works to reestablish the various ecosystems in the Bay and its surrounding region, protect it from further damage, and educate the public about the watershed and ways to protect it.
