Penn Latin & Ballroom Dance Presents



We are excited to continue hosting post-competition workshops. Please plan to stay in town on Sunday morning (Feb. 11th, 2018) to come take a workshop with renowned instructors and dancers Francesca Lazzari and/or Ruslan and Katusha Wilder.

Francesca Lazzari's workshop will begin at 12:00 PM and last one hour.
Ruslan and Katusha Wilder's workshop will begin at 1:00 PM and last one hour.
If you sign up in advance, each workshop costs $15 to attend, or $25 for both workshops.
If you do not sign up in advance, each workshop costs $20 to attend, or $30 for both workshops.

The location for the workshops is the Hall of Flags in Houston Hall, 3417 Spruce St, Philadelphia, PA 19104.

Private Lessons
Francesca Lazzari and Emanuele Pappacena, as well as Ruslan and Katusha Wilder will be holding private lessons from 2:15pm until 6:00pm.
Private lessons with Francesca Lazzari or Emanuele Pappacena cost $95.
Private lessons with Ruslan or Katusha Wilder cost $100.
Please pay the instructors directly the day of the lesson.

Emanuele Pappacena and Francesca Lazzari
From Italy, Emanuele and Francesca were trained as International Latin and Standard dancers and look back on an accomplished career, having performed at such illustrious competitions as the Blackpool in England. Now dancing for the US, they continue to compete Nationally and Internationally, most recently adding to their success with a US Open 3rd place finish in 10 Dance, US Open 2nd place finish in Classic Showdance, and a stunning 3rd place finish in 2013 WDC World Championship Classic Showdance.

Ruslan and Katusha Wilder
Russ and Katusha are professional ballroom dancers with over 25 years’ experience within the DanceSport industry. Russ was born and raised in St. Petersburg Russia, same as Katusha. He began his dance career at the age of 6. He has been enrolled in several different dance studios including St. Petersburg Youth Palace for Arts where he originally met with Katusha, where she had been dancing since age 5. At the age of 14 he and his family moved to the US where he continued his education. She continued dancing in Russia until the age of 18, earning various titles. In 2002 after getting married to Russ she moved to US where she continued her dance career with him. In addition to being a Professional Ballroom/Latin dancers Russ holds a BS from Kennesaw State University majoring in Communication Media Studies, TV and Radio Broadcasting and Katusha holds a degree in Physical education/ Therapy and Fitness, Masters in Kinesiology.
