Susan Anderson is a sophomore in the College who was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Her current plans are to complete a major in Health & Societies with a concentration in International Health, and a minor in Biology. Susan enjoys her involvement in bringing together the vibrant Canadian community at Penn, and her other passions include art, singing, the French language, travelling, cooking, and going to see some of the wonderful speakers that come to campus. Secretary: Julie Xu

Calgary, AB | SEAS '13

Julie Xu is currently a freshman studying Bioengineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. She is a proud Calgarian and Albertan, with the best beef and the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth. Her hobbies include drawing, swimming, sleeping, slacking, eating, and promoting Canada. Living in Harrison College House, Julie would love to meet any Canadians and wannabe-Canadians, especially any freshmen and fellow Calgarians. Canadians rule!

I'm currently a Junior in the College of Arts and Sciences, minoring in Music and majoring in Psychology, with a focus on the biological mechanisms of human behaviour. Besides CAP, I am also a tutor in the West Philly Tutoring Program, a volunteer at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, and a mentor in the International Mentoring Program. During my free time, I enjoy exploring Philly's unique South Street and Old City.

London, ON | SEAS '13

Hi! I'm a freshman in engineering, currently studying Bioengineering. I like listening music and sleeping in my spare time (but I don't really have spare time...). I'm really into graphic designing and making things look good, and I'm looking forward to meeting all my fellow Canadians! If you have any questions regarding the website or the club, feel free to e-mail me.

Chair: Bob Ma

Calgary, AB | Wharton '10

After three years of studying in the U.S., what I miss most about Calgary are the snowy Christmas seasons, Futureshop, open fields, CBC's "The National", and Canadian politics. I love chatting and trading experiences with other Canadian students, and any student who is interested in our awesome country!

Executive Vice Chair: Meg Sharma

Ottawa, ON | College '12

I am a pre-med sophomore in the college. I love volunteering, really any type of community service. And I love being Canadian!

Treasurer: Rohan Shah

Toronto, ON | College '13

A native of Toronto, Rohan brings a truly international flavour from his past experiences living in Singapore, England, and India (in case you're getting suspicious, Canada is still his home). He is a freshman at Penn in the College of Arts and Sciences and plans to major in Economics and obtain a Language Certificate in Mandarin Chinese. In his free time, Rohan enjoys playing badminton, refining his questionable hip-hop skills, watching comedy and horror movies, and eating high-quality sushi. Also, Rohan enjoys playing the flute. Vive le Canada!

Vice Chair for External Affairs: Alena Wang

Burnaby, BC | College '12

I'm a sophomore in the College (prospective Linguistics major). I'm proud to be Canadian - I've lived in Vancouver for 9 years, but before that I also lived in Montreal and Edmonton. I'm deeply into linguistics, so if you ever want to talk about linguistics or anything else feel free to drop me a line! If you're part of another group at Penn and are interested in interacting or coordinating something with Canadians at Penn, let me know!

Vice Chair for Membership: Andrea Cheung

Vancouver, BC | College '12

Hello fellow and honorary Canadians, I hail from Vancouver, British Columbia. I'm a Sophomore in the College with an interest in the Health and Societies major. This year I will be serving YOU as Vice Chair for Membership. When I'm not out and about actively recruiting new members, composing Canadian-English emails, boasting about poutine, and advertising for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, I can be found making runs to fro-yo , fro-gro, and piled under a bunch of books at Fisher-Bennett. I'm really excited about the prospect of expanding our Canadian family with new members and young alum this year. If you want to be added to the list-serv so that you can meet fellow Canadians, feel free to email me!

Vice Chair for University Affairs: Victor Ngai

I am a College and Wharton sophomore from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In addition to concentrating in finance, I am also pursuing a major in international studies with a focus on the Francophone world. I am also a big follower of Canadian politics, so feel free to chat with me about the minority government situation and the impending federal election. Back home, my favorite TV shows are The Mercer Report and Corner Gas (before the series ended). On campus, I am also involved in the Wharton Business Law Association and the International Mentors Program.
