Fellow Freshmen,
You can see it in the way we walk down Locust. This class is something special. From owning a landscaping company to engineering fuel cells, our class is already changing this world. At the end of the day, we are in not in college to make friends with our textbooks. We are in college to make friends with one another – and lifelong ones at that. Penn students understand that, and realize that it's as much about learning from our 1 hour lectures as it is our 1 a.m. conversations with floormates. That being said, it's our job as your Class Board to create more opportunities for you to meet and make memories with one another. There are 2,500 of us in this class, and who knows - your lifelong partner-in-crime might be out there and you may not know it yet. That's why we're doing it big this year. We've put on Econ Scream, Homecoming, Cram N' Jam, and now it's time to add a new tradition to the list – NSOver Again. In addition to the series of events we've lined up for you, we have also have numerous restaurants and stores on board in terms of offering substantial discounts to the best class out there. We're working hard to not only build greater familiarly with each other but also with campus life at Penn. Ultimately, the goal is simple: years from now, after graduation and GPA are a thing of the past, I want us to have amazing stories to share with one another. It's about making memories and building friendships. So live it up 2013 because this year will be one we'll remember for the rest of our lives. Bleeding Red & Blue, Jonathon
