"At first Maya may seem like your average, quaint Maine native. But take a closer look and you’ll be surprised. Maya’s soprano pipes give new meaning to the word siren, and she’s got more brass than…something…really brassy. The Commons dining staff once mistook Maya for a Brooklyn native when she threatened to mess them UP for refusing to put tofu in her stir-fry.  Don’t worry, they put tofu all up in it., and now she doesn’t even have to ask. When Maya isn’t performing or rehearsing for one of her 83 shows in a semester, she can be found going on cooking rampages, picking up the CP slack, and belting her face off in Platt just for fun. Since Maya’s time is precious we couldn’t be happier that she’s made time for us in her whirlwind schedule. You will be too after you hear her rockin’ solo."
