Bio

(from the program of the CP Spring Show "Jazz In My Pants")
"When people first meet Ryan, they usually have a lot of questions such as, "Is he really the only blond Jew in the South?" or "Dude, how many plaid shirts does that guy own?" The answers of course are yes, and 32. Ryan truly brings something different to Counterparts. Masculinity; a love of televised sports; the ability to sing the bass line of Route 66 differently everytime; a frat related fan-base; replacing normal syllables with the word "meow." But what Ryan really brings to the table is his love of Jane Austen. Surprising, I know, just when you though you had Markman all figuered out, you discover that he pines after Mr. Darcy just as much as every ugly ducking 17 year old girl. Okay, ummm, maybe Ryan doesn't bring a love of Jane Austen to the table, because after all he is in Wharton and therefore illiterate. But he is weirdly obsessed with short people."
