Bio

(from the program of the 2010 CP Spring Show "Nicktunes")
What do you think of when you hear the name Will Connell?  Do you lose your balance, fall to the ground, and start to convulse?  That probably because you’re thinking about Will’s smooth, body-melting vocals.  Will may be small — topping off at a meager 3’8” or so — but his desire (and his potential) to rank among the greats like Mandy Patinkin is anything but.  Joining the Counterparts family in the fall of 2009, Will was initially worried that his affinity for vests would make him a pariah.  But then he met everyone else in the group and wasn’t so concerned anymore.  If there’s one thing you need to know about Will (other than that he is a constant source of entertainment, has a lovely voice, and does impeccable impressions), it’s that he likes hummus.  Actually, he doesn’t just like hummus; he needs hummus.  There is no blood running through Will’s veins — only hummus.  So the next time you run into Will and you start to think, Is that a container of hummus in his pocket or is he just happy to see me?, it’s probably hummus.  Or a beach club, no sprouts."
