Hey Everyone! I'm the kid who always wears his hat at funny angles and tends to wear sweatpants or basketball shorts on most days. In my free time, you'll usually find me grocery shopping at FroGro or hitting up all the delicious eateries and bakeries in Chinatown. If you hear the beat of a drum around 36th and Locust, that's probably my lion dance troupe, Penn Lions, practicing for an upcoming gig. Everything else you need to know about me is in the last 6 words (junior, philadelphia, econ, whopper, pepsi, blue).

Born in New Zealand and raised in Hong Kong, I flew halfway across the globe to study Psychology. As an active member of CSA since freshman year, I have learned to appreciate and leverage on the large network of amazingly talented people of which you can do the same. I have a great interest in all racket sports, particularly tennis of which I am the captain of the Women's Club Tennis team, and enjoy fine arts, high tea, and chocolate covered gummy bears!

I was born and raised in Hong Kong. I am currently studying Finance and Psychology. I love running, baking, sunny skies, watching TV, shopping, laughing and of course... EVERYTHING about CSA! I want to travel the world one day.

Allan Yang

Treasurer

My name is Allan Yang, and I'm the newly appointed Treasurer for CSA. I'm a junior studying finance and accounting in Wharton. So I guess that would make me a future investment banker, but please don't hate me; I have a good heart, and I do help people, well, once in a while. I love sports, both watching and playing. My idols are Brett Favre (even if he's washed out), Yao Ming (even if he can't stay healthy), and Warren Buffett (even if he's ageless). Oh, ya, in case you must know, I also dance for the Pan-Asian Dance Troupe.

David Liang

Secretary
liangd@sas.upenn.edu

My name is David Liang and I am the Secretary of Chinese Students' Association. I am a junior from Philadelphia who is currently grinding it out as a pre-med student. My interests include Asian-American issues, Chinese history, sports, working out, and consuming different types of food. I also enjoy listening to different styles of music, from the thought-provoking rhymes of Lupe Fiasco to the soothing sounds of David Tao. I joined CSA because I wanted to be part of a campus group involved in connecting students who share similar cultural backgrounds, plus the people here are pretty cool too.

Can I get your hand to write on Just a piece of lead to bite on What a night to fly my kite on Do you want to flash your light on Take a look its on display - for you Coming down no not today Did you meet your fortune teller Get it off with no propellor Do it up it's on with stella What a way to finally smell her Pickin' up but not to strong - for you Take a piece and pass it on Fly away on my zephyr I feel it more than ever And in this perfect weather We'll find a place together Fly on my wind

I'm a junior in Wharton studying Marketing. I'm co-chair of community service. Born and raised in Philly, I really love this city. I like helping out public school students in Philadelphia and hope to start my own non-profit in Urban Education someday. I enjoy watching movies, playing basketball, hanging out with my wonderful boyfriend, and listening to all types of music. I spent this past semester abroad in Beijing and I learned a lot of Chinese. I also learned to appreciate toilets with seats on them. I love pandas.

Geoffrey Liu

I joined the CSA ranks early in the year and have absolutely loved the experience of working with such passionate and friendly people. And yes, if you somewhat recognize my face, it was I who starred as ëQing Zhongí in the recent CSA Culture Show ëCrouching Warrior, Hidden Maidení. Other than acting, my other interests also include singing (karaoke!), cooking, soccer, watching Hong Kong dramas, reading, and eating Japanese food.

My other interests include cooking lots of food, operatic and classical music, hip hop, stepping, Greek and Roman mythology, and dance parties.

HI! I'm from the smallest state in the US, and the concept of driving for more than an hour and remaining in the same state is very, very foreign to me. I'm currently a junior in the engineering school, majoring in bioengineering. On campus I'm also a member of Sigma Psi Zeta sorority and the Penn club gymnastics team. I enjoy lolcats, shopping, photoshop and chocolate :)

Justin Yuan

Hi everybody, I'm from Irvine, CA and I'm in the Wharton class of 2010, concentrating in Finance. I joined CSA because I love Chinese culture and sharing it with others. In my free time, I like to play tennis and guitar, sing karaoke, watch Asian movies, and cook Chinese food.

Molin Zhong

Cultural

I am a junior from Des Moines, Iowa. I am the co-cultural chair, and a Whartonite, with a concentration in Statistics. My hobbies include eating, sleeping, showering, brushing my teeth, and saying "lol" after funny statements. My favorite bands are Snow Patrol, Belle and Sebastian, Oasis, and Death Cab for Cutie (good music). I really like watching drama movies cuz it shows how emo I am. When I am not listening to music or watching movies, I really like hanging out with my friends and talking about how life is really amazing.

Terry Ye

Wayne Ngai

Fundraising

Born and raised in the chaotic kitchens of my parent’s Chinese American Restaurant, I mastered the art of frying egg rolls at age 8 while simultaneously perfecting my people skills waiting tables (yay for tips!). Outside of the sweatshop, I enjoy chilling with friends, watching Chinese wuxia dramas, and anything sports related. Here at Penn, CSA is both my passion and my family and I encourage everyone to come out to our events and apply to be on board!!!

Louise Li

Fundraising

Hey y’all! I’m one of the fundraising chairs and a bioengineer in the Class of 2012. I want to give a big shout-out to the state of Arkansas, where I was born and raised. GO HOGS! You can always find me listening to music or eating (usually both). When I’m not slaving away for CSA, I’m probably sleeping, shopping, running, laughing, procrastinating, or keepin’ it real.

Jennifer Kwok

CSA Associate

Hi there! I was born and raised in the great state of New Jersey, where every other Penn student seems to be from as well. I’m in the Wharton class of 2012, planning to concentrate in Accounting and Real Estate and to minor in Music and Chinese from the College. All this, of course, is subject to change. In my free time, I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, watching and keeping track of my favorite sports teams/athletes, checking up on my fantasy teams, watching The Office and Entourage, and eating really good (preferably Chinese) food.

Jennifer Liu

CSA Associate

Jenn Liu believes she is turning into a robot, a pink robot mind you, but a robot nonetheless. With her heart stolen by engineering, and her love by her calculator, she has very little left for the real world. Scoring 65% on the Geek Test, Jenn earned Geek Goddess status. She also is continuing her reign as the Tetris Queen. In her spare time she enjoys reading XKCD, administrating official celebrity websites, programming her calculator and solving immensely large Rubik's cubes.

Alphonse Tam

CSA Associate

Hey guys! This is Alphonse and I am currently a CSA Associate, which basically means I get to help out with whatever event my fellow Board members need help with. I'm a freshman in the College looking to study IR and I'm originally from Philly. My interests are: being Chinese, going to Chinatown, eating Chinese food, bubble tea, friends, Italian food, Entourage, event planning, making new friends, hanging in Rittenhouse Square and being an avid CSA member. I currently live in Harrison College House. Contact me if you have any questions or concerns, or if you just need a friend.
