Mountain Bike Racing

Mountain Bike Races occur in the Fall from September until November.  Mountain bike racing pairs the skills of off-road riding and handling with extreme athletic endurance.  In order to be successful one need to pair skill and speed.  Skill without speed or speed without skill are not enough.  Are you tough enough to race through the cold mud?  Do you have the skills and mental toughness to change a flat tire in under a minute?  Tough as it is, mountain bike racing is incredibly rewarding.

There are three types of mountain bike races: cross country, downhill, and dual slalom. Cross country takes place on a loop and usually has varying types of terrain.  Downhill is fairly self explanatory simple: reach the bottom of a hill faster than everyone else. Dual slalom is a sprint type of race where two racers compete at the same time on parallel courses.

If you are interested in racing with us, check out the Join Us page in order to see what is necessary for you to compete.
