amazingness...
Today Caleb, Brian
Gavin, Ross and [Lenny] headed out to Elmer, NJ to compete in the
Hillbilly Hustle. Caleb, Brian and [Lenny] all raced the Cat 4
cross race, as Ross could only dream of future cross glory in the
upcoming weeks. Results were somewhat irrelevant (nor have they
been posted yet), although personal goals of finishing, and not
finishing last were met by all. Racing included lots of technical
turns, riding through the woods, hurdles, some mud and sandy
conditions, glory, and a 8 foot dirt hill on every lap.
The rest of the
afternoon was filled with free beer, food, colorful commentary and
Ross getting a tattoo from a 6 yr old of a lion on a bicycle.
Even goofing off for
a few hours to watch the other races, we were home by 1pm
