The Penn Parliamentary Debate Society sent three teams to compete in Cambridge, Massachusetts at the annual Harvard Invitational. With a strong 4-1 preliminary record, the novice team of Caroline Wallace and Nicolo Marzano advanced to the novice semi-finals, finishing third in the novice bracket. Caroline Wallace came in as the second novice speaker out of 183 novices competing.
The Penn Parliamentary Debate Society sent two teams to compete at the annual University of Pittsburg Invitational. Out of 29 novices competing, Penn debaters Nicolo Marzano and David Jakubowitz placed as third and ninth speakers respectively.
The Penn Parliamentary Debate Society hosted its annual tournaments with 75 teams competing. The Columbia-GW hybrid team of Joseph Eddy and Dan Cobbs came out victorious in the varsity bracket while the Georgetown team of Austin Cohen and Emma Rose Bienvenu won the novice bracket.
The Penn Parliamentary Debate Society went to their first Pro-Am and Washington DC tournament of the year. Novice debaters and varsity mentors paired up and faced a fierce field of 100 other teams over this Halloween Weekend.
