To be reimbursed for driving out team lessons, you will be prompted by the UPET treasurer several times each academic year to submit 3 numbers: total miles driven, tolls incurred, and total reimbursement. UPET reimburses drivers $0.15/mi. You will then receive payment from the UPET treasurer when your figures have been submitted. Please contact the UPET treasurer with any problems you may have.

Philly Car Share
If you would like to drive for the team but do not have a car on campus, you may be eligable to sign up for a Philly Car Share through Penn. Penn covers the cost of all rentals (though you must pay for gas, but can then fill out the reimbursement forms above). You must be 21 to get a Philly Car Share and you cannot have any moving violations for which you were at fault. You will be required to take an online driving safety course before you can register with Philly Car Share through Penn Rec. If you meet the critera, please e-mail the team to let us know you are interested.

You will need to take the Driver Safety course online before you can sign up with Philly Car Share. Before doing this, please make sure you have sent us an e-mail and let us know you are planning to sign up for this. Afterwards, follow the directions below to take the online course.
1) Go to Knowledge Link. You must use an up to date version of Flash Player and allow pop-ups in your browser.
2) Login using your pennkey and password.
3) Click on the Search box and enter the keywords, Driver Safety.
4) Choose Driver Safety For Van Drivers and select the green Start.
5) Under the 9 sections of the course select the green Start when ready to begin that section.
6) In the next pop-up select Click Here to Start this Training Module.
7) At the completion of reading and watching the material click on the link Step 4: Click here to take the test!.
8) When finished the section's test click View Summary.
9) Then select Close Window and return to the LMS.
10) Go back to the other browser page open and select Record my results in Knowledgelink. You must select this before closing this page otherwise your results will not post and the section will not be listed as completed.
11) Completed sections will be listed in green. Incomplete sections will be listed in red. Once you complete all 9 sections you have finished.
