Peter Shaffer's thrilling and often wickedly funny play pits blazing human ambition against heavenly genius in what becomes a battle between man and God. Antonio Salieri is exalted as the most famous composer in a city of musicians until young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart arrives. Now viciously confronted with the limitations of his own talent and believing that God has abandoned him, Salieri confronts us with an artist’s grueling struggle. This production of Amadeus will bring a renewed appreciation of the political, personal, and godly power of music to Penn’s campus.

This show performs on April 1-3 with tickets available online one month before the show.
