Copenhagen
By Michael Frayn
Directed by Peter Bonilla
Nazi-occupied Denmark: 1941. Niels Bohr and his friend
and protégé Werner Heisenberg, Germany's
leading scientist, are on opposite sides of the direst conflict of the 20th century.
This Tony Award-winning play is the explosive reimagining of that mysterious meeting,
long shrouded in secrecy and speculation. Copenhagen retraces the tenuous moral
grounds for weapons of mass destruction, and exposes the trivial, hot tempered,
fleeting moments which pivot the results of war.
Copenhagen performs in The Heyer Space, in Harrison College House (4910 Irving Street)
