Jason Butler
Jason Butler is a junior Benjamin Franklin Scholar in the College double-majoring in Theater Arts and Communications. Last season, he had the opportunity to direct Closer for the TAC-e Small Fall production, Nine for Front Row's winter production, and Bat Boy: The Musical for Quadramics' 2007 Spring Fling production. Jason currently serves as Vice Chair on the Pennsylvania Players Board of Governors and as a member of the Communications Committee on the Performing Arts Advisory Council. As a performer at Penn, Jason has starred as Cliff in the Penn Players' production of Cabaret, Candide in Penn Singers' 50th Anniversary production of Candide, and Doody in the 2006 Quadramics Spring Fling Musical, Grease. He is thrilled to be working with FTC again this year on Andrew Lippa's john & jen and Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?. |
