Sushi Night

Held once every fall, JSA's time-honored Sushi Night is the product of our members' weekend-long making of an incredible amount of sushi. The event is open to everyone, and all guests are welcome to eat as much as possible while watching a capella and dance performances.

Iron Chef

Iron Chef

Every spring, various cultural groups battle for the coveted Iron Chef of the Year distinction. The competitors are given a surprise ingredient which they must use to cook an appetizer, entree, and dessert. The judges grade these mouthwatering dishes while attendees enjoy live performances, unlimited food, and life-sized Karuta Game.

Mochi Fest

Which cultural group can cook the best mochi-based food? Attendees buy as much mochi as they can eat, and the group that sells the most is the winner! Mochi is a common ingredient in most Asian cuisines, but the variety amongst the dishes is unfailingly mind-boggling.
