Mission Statement
The John Marshall Pre-Law Honor Society (JMS) assists University of Pennsylvania undergraduate pre-law students in their preparation for law school. By educating our members, JMS hopes to improve the experience of every one involved in application to and attendance of law school. JMS attempts to build a bridge between law schools, law students and the undergraduates who seek to understand the admissions process. Former JMS students have benefited immeasurably from their membership in the honor society and have gone on to attend schools such as Harvard School, Stanford Law School, University of Pennsylvania Law School, Columbia School of Law, Duke Law School, Georgetown Law Center and many more.
JMS caters to Penn’s best and brightest, offering exclusive benefits such as panels with law students and legal professors, LSAT prep courses and courses discounts, workshops with admissions directors, and social activities to foster relationships between members. JMS welcomes students who have proven their commitment to academic excellence and commitment to the campus community through not only their grades but their social involvement, extracurricular activities and volunteer work.
