Class Boards
If you would like to become a representative for your class, you must run in an election. Elections are held twice a year: in the fall for incoming freshman and in the spring for upperclassmen. You may run for the following positions:
- President
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Vice-President for Corporate Sponsorship
- College of Arts & Sciences Representatives (2 positions)
- Nursing School Representative
- School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Representative

Nominations and Elections Committee (NEC)
In order to become a member of the NEC, you must fill out an application and interview with the Executive Board. The NEC accepts the majority of its new members at the start of the school year. As it is a multi-year commitment, most new members are freshmen and sophomores.
Social Planning and Events Committee (SPEC)
Any member of the undergraduate community can join SPEC at any time. To join, please visit the SPEC website, determine which committees interest you, and fill out the necessary form.
Student Activities Council (SAC)
In order to become a member of SAC, you must be a member of a SAC-recognized organization. Once involved in such a group, you may run for a position on SAC's executive board.
Student Committee on Undergraduate Education (SCUE)
If you would like to become a member of SCUE, you must fill out an application and interview with the Steering Committee. SCUE accepts new members in the fall and the spring, and applicants should be freshmen or sophomores.
Undergraduate Assembly (UA)
If you would like to become a UA representative, you must run in an election. Elections are held twice a year: in the fall for incoming freshman and in the spring for upperclassmen.
