| Catherine Wang, Vice Chair for Publicity - wangcat (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2014. College of Arts & Sciences |
 |
Catherine hails from Vancouver, BC
(But no, she does not say “aboot”)
She really likes Penn and enjoys NEC
She also loves tropical fruit
She’s Asian, a writer, a lover of songs
She’s developed a fondness for Scrabble
She likes to quote Scrubs and The Lord of the Rings
And in art she’s been known to have dabbled
She loves public speech and the thrill of debate
She'll step on the leaves that look crunchy
But here ends her poem 'cause it’s getting quite late
And she finds herself wanting some munchies
|
|
| Jennica Reichert, Vice Chair for Administration and Finance - jennica (at) wharton.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2014. Wharton |

Now Philly's my home,
NEC like a family,

Who cares which it is?!
UPENN's where its at!

| David Aron - aronda (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2013. Wharton |

David hails from the Windy City
Livin' it up, he's fly like Diddy
The poem is short because he's not so witty
But NEC is the best PSG committee! |
|
| Alec Barnes - alecb (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2014. Wharton |
 |

And don't hate on me.
You know that I'm not crass--
I'm on the NEC!
|
|
| Chloe Bower - chloeb (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2015. College of Arts & Sciences |
 |
Hi, I'm Chloe Bower
Currently chillin' in memorial tower
Wish I had a super power
I hate foods that are sour
And all the quad showers
Don't like driving in rush hour
I used to watch rocket power
Scary movies make me cower
I like things that smell like flowers
|
|
| Jeremy Brinster - jbrin (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Former Positions Held: Vice Chair for Publicity (2010-2011) |
| Class of 2013. College of Arts & Sciences |

From the town of the Ivy that's second rate.
I'm often sarcastic,
My rhymes are fantastic.
Insomnia cookies are great. |

| Class of 2015. College of Arts & Sciences |

| Aaron Dannenbaum - aadan (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2015. College of Arts & Sciences |

It's nice to be a part of the NEC
Since I'm such a big fan of PSG
In case you're wondering, my last name starts with a D
Not all poems have to rhyme.
|
|
| Fredrick Ding - dingfred (at) seas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2015. School of Engineering and Applied Sciences |
 |
Frederick hails from the Great White North,
Where a bathroom is a washroom,
And metric makes sense.
He may have ideas to be put forth,
Or he'll correct you -- it's "by whom!"
NEC fun, commence!
|
|
| Christi Economy - (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2014. College of Arts & Sciences |

No. I’m not in Wharton, silly.
Everyone asks me that all the time.
So when you’re about to keep that in mind.
I love nice people so smile at me.
Here’s to a wonderful time on the NEC!
|
|
| Patrick Ford-Matz - patf (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2015. College of Arts & Sciences |
 |
Leaving my home in the state of Connecticut,
Learning the ropes and the old Quaker etiquette,
I'm making my mark with the great NEC
The best-looking branch of our big PSG.
Now I know we'll succeed, above all the rest,
Because "here and everywhere, boldest is best."
|
|
| Ben Gitles - gitlesb (at) seas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2015. School of Engineering and Applied Sciences |

Refrigerator.
|
|
| Barbara Gao - bgao (at) wharton.upenn.edu |
| Former Positions Held: Vice Chair for Nominations (2010-2011) |
| Class of 2012. Wharton |
 |
Barbara's from Chandler, AZ,
Now she's at Penn and on the NEC.
She loves to watch Diamondbacks baseball;
For an Asian, she's actually quite tall.
Steak is her favorite food to eat
And raspberry truffles are her favorite treat.
On Saturdays, what she likes to do
Is to watch football and chant "Go (red
and?) Blue!"
Finally, while in this world she does have many
cares,
One is not learning to rhyme in more
than pairs.

|
| Kate Goldenberg - kategold (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2014. College of Arts & Sciences |
 |
With the NEC I am ready to celebrate
As a member, I expect Penn we will innovate
Oh I forgot to mention, my name is Kate
I guess being short is my fate
5 feet flat-- but please don’t hate
Hailing from suburban Philly- so PA’s my state
Though ancient Rome and Greece are straight…
up awesome-Come on people, Alexander the Great and Caesar, city state?
But sad to say I’ve yet to discover something to equate
To Pinkberry and tennis and, oh, I don’t procrastinate
I like to create, debate and pretzels and mustard make me salivate
Internet ordering with free freight is first rate
And as for my writing goofy poems, well, I suggest you find someone else to imitate.

In high school i was known as Big Red Head.

|
| Ben Kruger - krugerb (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Former Positions held: Vice Chair for Elections (2010-2011)
|
| Class of 2012. Wharton |
 |
I journeyed to Philly from Hartford
On my way I crossed the Delaware River –
yes that tiny fjord.
And now to keep this poem from making you bored
I will weave a tale of love and sword.
High in the sky an eagle soared
Its shrieks’ striking magnificent chord.
While below the lion roared
And the antelope ran in a massive horde.
Across the Savanna a young lass explored
But as darkness closed in her fate was all but
secured.
For her tent was not successfully moored
And strong desert winds would throw her as she
snored
But just then emerged a lad with some of the
qualities of the lord
And saved the girl from nature’s whipcord.
The girl found the lad worthy of being adored
But not for his stellar deeds and record.
But rather because he was a member of the NEC.

| Class of 2012. Wharton |

| Justin Levin - juslevin (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2014. College of Arts & Sciences |
 |
The NEC is all about being just,
That is why my names is Justin,
Our body revolves around discretionary trust,
Believe me, in our secretive meetings there is no angel dust,
We sit and revise the FPC to make sure it wont be rustin’,
The NEC is all about being just,
If shared our secrets I would surly combust,
I would get thrown in a loony bin,
Our body revolves around discretionary trust,
With out us the UA would turn into radioactive dust,
They need NEC to be survivin’,
The NEC is all about being just.
So that is my poem, hopefully it is not a bust,
But I know the other NECers will be lustin’,
Our body revolves around discretionary trust,
The NEC is all about being just.

and is living the life of luxury,
on the illustrious, absurdly good looking NEC. |

I lived in London for a year or two
I'm obsessed with music and high heeled shoes
I'm excited for Penn and the NEC
It's always a party in PSG
|

| Johnny Schaefer - jschae (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2013. College of Arts & Sciences |

My name is Johnny and I'm from Colorado,

| Justine Shiou - jshiou (at) wharton.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2013. Wharton |

I hail from the windy city,
but my home for the next 4 years will be Philly,
although my heart remains in the Midwest,
I hear that Quakers do it best,
So lets party and dance,
And begin this NEC romance!!
|
|
| Karen Sun - karensun (at) wharton.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2015. Wharton |
 |
I hail from the renowned "Colle Park"
but my booty is not of the size loved by Bubba Sparx.
Yes I own cowboy boots and love Taylor Swift,
but Philly and NYC are my true loves, if you catch my drift.
I'm sorry this poem is so bad,
but poetry was a gift I never had.
I love shoes and I love to party,
and that is why I love NEC and the glorious university of Penn.
Because we work hard, and party hearty,
and with us, the fun never ends!

| Mallika Vinekar - mvinekar@ sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2013. College of Arts & Sciences |
 |
I believe oatmeal is way underrated,
There’s no episode of "The Office" I’ve ever hated,
I tend to be rather beastly at Taboo,
I’m always down for a pomegranate, sometimes two. |
|
| Lyndsey Wheeler - lwheeler (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2014. College of Arts & Sciences |

There once was a gal named Lynds,
Who danced ballet and played violins,
Came from the burbs of DC,
To Penn’s own NEC,
This is where her story begins.

|
| Yilu Zhang - yilu (at) sas.upenn.edu |
| Class of 2012. Wharton |

Everything rhymes with my name,
So writing a poem shouldn't be hard;
but the only words I can think of are lame
So I give up.
