I am a third-year graduate student in the Department of Chemistry. Prior to joining Penn, I completed my undergraduate education at IIT Kanpur, India. My first brush with PAAGSA was in fall 2016 during their welcome back reception event. I resonated with their ideology, made some awesome friends and a year later I am their chair of academic programming. While serving this post, I plan to facilitate informal communication between faculty and graduate students (not limited to Asian American ethnicity). In addition, I also plan to lower the threshold for research communication between graduate students from varying academic backgrounds.
