Assalam-u-Alaikum and congratulations on your
admission to Penn!!! The upcoming academic year promises to be an
exciting one as you navigate through the endless opportunities that Penn
provides for social, academic and extra-curricular engagement. If
you're looking to get in touch with other Pakistanis at Penn, then look
no further! The Penn Pakistan Society serves
as a platform for Pakistanis at Penn (current and alumni) to interact,
as well as a front for the representation of Pakistan to the wider
community. We also realize that the changes accompanying college life
can seem to be overwhelming at times. Therefore, as a home away from home,
the Penn Pakistan society
enables you to touch base every once in a while through social,
cultural, and political events. As you adjust
to your new environment, please do not hesitate to contact the board or
other members of PPS for advice regarding courses, housing, Hallal food, and various activities or just for good old
Pakistani chitchat. Also, stay tuned for information regarding freshmen
positions in PPS. Once again, the Penn Pakistan Society
welcomes you and congratulates you on your admission. We look forward
to seeing you in September!
