The Rebecca Aaberg is a rare, nay, unique creature. She can be identified in the wild by her contagious smile, characteristic IR and Hispanic Studies Majors, or possibly her mad swing-dancing skills, which she uses to greet her allies and predators alike. The Rebecca Aaberg's preferred foods include vegetables and rice, and, prior to her relocation to West Philadelphia, her natural habitat was a town about an hour outside of Kansas City, Missouri. Don't even think about trying to catch a Rebecca Aaberg; they're wily, and may lull you to sleep with their clarinet or oboe melodies. If you must approach one and are afraid for your life, make loud noises concerning international economics and you just may survive the encounter.

Tory Gobat is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania, although everyone back home in Colts Neck, NJ seems to confuse it with Penn State, which, NO, IT IS NOT! She has played clarinet since forever ago, and gives appropriate props to her parents for making her try it in the first place. Throughout the ages of her life Tory has been a member of more bands than can be named, but include All Shore Symphonic Band, Cedar Drive Colt Band, Colts Neck High School marching and concert bands, etc., as well as taken private lessons to improve her already superb ability as a musician. Her life at Penn consists of living almost enclosed in her dorm room struggling to finish work and get to sleep in an actual bed rather than in class. =P Her nocturnal habits are fueled by exorbitant amounts of homework doled out by professors with high expectations, and thus homework for Tory takes quite a bit of time! (Although she hasn't totally kicked that procrastination habit yet.) In her "spare time" Tory enjoys scrambling on the field at (*cough* long, cold *cough*) football games, yelling chants at basketball games, and of course playing awesome music with the Penn Band. Tory has two amazingly wonderful brothers, one of which whom she absolutely adores is named Greg and wrote this bio for her! Finally, Tory would like to remind anyone who has her contact information to please remind her to go to bed in some way once the time has reached approximately 4 am.

Alicia Rodriguez is a 5' 5'' Delawarian spitfire. When not creating risqué cartoons using her MacBook's Comic Life program or scribbling the name of this week's crush in the margin of her History-171 notes, she can be found frolicking through the Quad, singing Daddy Yankee songs. Preoccupied with chickpeas, country music, and saving the world, Alicia rarely has time to attend class – When she does though, she is typically wearing her pajamas (overslept!), with toothpaste smeared across her lips and hair in disarray. Despite this outwardly alarming appearance, Alicia is a kind soul, who loves nothing more than spending time with friends, family, and her ten dogs and cats.

Where in the world is Becca Goldman? Our sources have informed us that this elusive clarinet may be hiding out elsewhere in the band. Upon further investigation, detectives recovered a hockey uniform, a worn, blue gingham dress, and various other costumes that appear to have been worn outside sometime during the fall of 2007 among her personal effects. After four years with the section, the senior seems to have used her knowledge in chemistry and material science either to construct herself a portal into an alternate dimension or to turn herself into some kind of chameleon. Could there be any other explanation for the disappearance of this talented member of both Penn Band and the wind ensemble? Plans are in place for an interview with the drum major, who seems to look awfully familiar...

Alyssa Sclafani first started playing the clarinet when there were too many other fourth grade girls who wanted to play the flute. She is majoring in Biology, but her friends assume she's majoring in Monty Python Studies. After college she will either continue her plans to attend medical school, or be a judge on Iron Chef. Playing third base for the New York Yankees wouldn't be too bad, either.

"Robert Desocio is in the clarinet section. He has hobbies, interests, and experiences that make him unique in respect to other members of the band. He has played the clarinet for such a time, and he holds a council position within the band that entails responsibility. A rough sketch of his character can be determined with a series of anecdotes. Several adjectives sum up many of his chief qualities succinctly. There may be a general feeling within an organization about what sort of person Robert is. He dislikes revealing details about himself."

Whether she's running around on the field or campaigning, Sofie gives her all. Someday when she's working on "the hill," we'll just have to hope that she uses her powers of debate for good (not that there is any question about that!). For now, she's finishing up her senior year (including a 70 page thesis--wow!) with a double-major in International Relations and History (and don't forget that Spanish minor).
