Kenneth Yeh

Class of 2009
Tenor

Kenny hails from Hong Kong. One.nay.many might assume that he's from the UK with his deceptively inviting British accent. After bumming around Penn for the most part of his first semester as a renegade, someone introduced him to PennYo. Not knowing what he was getting himself into, Kenny made arguably the most pivotal decision he made in his life, by trying it once.

As Yeh fervently documents in his stunning documentary, at first, PennYo was purely for enjoyment. While under these initial stages of Yo usage, what he calls "rehearsal", he was known to make strange noises with his vocal chords, dance randomly and eat lots. Before long, against the will of his close friends and associates, Kenny found his use of PennYo spiraling from the recreational to the habitual. In this difficult stage, what he calls "performance" the effects were lessened, and Kenny found himself needing more Yo to reach the climactic "after party" stage, where Kenny never recalls anything from his experiences. However, an educated guess coupled with several trusted eyewitnesses point in the direction of more of the afore mentioned antics.

At the moment Kenny lives a double life outside his PennYo sessions, as he goes to class, exercises regularly and acts on stage. This semester however he ended up so addicted to PennYo that he had to start going for a stronger version of it, dubbed underground as "assistant concert manager". He now experiences stronger, mind-altering hallucinations such as translating Chinese songs into English and working on a concert program.

His future plans are to fervently advertise PennYo to other outsiders who haven't yet been exposed to its potency including innocent freshman next year, as he intends to expand its already fast growing user base.when questioned personally, he advocates outright that PennYo does not have a direct impact on his life.
