Born in Taiyuan and having spent 10 years altogether in Nanjing, Beijing and Shanghai, Hui spent her entire life in mainland China. Before coming to U Penn to pursue her MBA studies at Wharton, Hui was a busy consultant with the BCG Shanghai office. She fell in love with PennYo when YY, her best friend at BCG and a former PennYo alumna, told her about the Chinese a cappella group. Hui then dreamed of entering Wharton with the hope of joining PennYo. Now Hui successfully (and proudly) has taken the place of some other guy to be the oldest member in the group.
Hui is crazy about hip-hop music and Mix in Beijing is her favorite place to dance. She’s also enthusiastic about cooking and always thinks of creating new dishes in her spare time. These don’t sound like hobbies of a consultant with hectic schedules…but who cares. Hui just wants to live her own life! =) Solos Performed:
