Family. Friends. Food. Travel. Clothes. Music. Photography. These are all great things. All the things Hobbs enjoys in life! Hobbs joined PennYo in his sophomore year, and since then, PennYo has provided him with great friends, delicious food, an awesome trip to Taipei, photo sessions, a reason to buy concert clothes, and of course, fantastic, can’t-get-it-out-of-your-head music! And what about family? PY has basically become another family to him. He hopes that everyone can come to enjoy the PennYo family and our songs as much as he does!
Half-Japanese and Half-Chinese, but everyone in China and Japan thinks he’s Korean…Wonder what would happen if he went to Korea? Hobbs was born in Beijing, China, but he grew up in Hiroshima, Japan, for the first seven years of his life. He, however, calls Las Vegas home. If you’re ever finding yourself in Vegas and you DON’T want to go to a nightclub, hit him up! Being under 21, he can’t get in many places...
Another thing about Hobbs: he loves taking pictures, but knows nothing about cameras like iso, shutter speed… but you’ll find him always carrying around his baobei (his Nikon DSLR) and uploading plenty of pictures on facebook.
Although his name is Ryun, everyone in PennYo calls him Hobbs. This has spread to many of his other friends, so he goes by either name now. Wanna know why he doesn’t have an Asian last name? Long story…
