Steph was born in Taipei, Taiwan, the home of Bing Lang Xi Shi, Bubble Tea, and yummy yummy Ding Tai Fung. In first grade, Steph was an super-extroverted kid - super jumpy and outspoken - until she got beat up by psycho Chinese teachers for talking too much in class / not sleeping during nap times. In fourth grade, she couldn’t take the emo-ness anymore and decided to escape to Taipei American School where Backstreet Boys, N’Sync, Christina Aguilera, and Britney, etc took over her life. Then, she went to high school in Pebble Beach, California, where she awoke to sounds of golfers on the green teeing-off with their drivers. She picked up golf there and fell in love with it instantly, despite calling it ‘the most boring sport ever invented’ for so many years. She also loves basketball and will eat you if you diss the Lakers or Kobe Bryant.
Then, she landed on the East Coast and decided to go to Penn, hoping to achieve her dream of becoming an architect so she could design her own house someday. After a year of archi[torture], she decided that sleep was more important in her life. She switched and became an Econ major so she could help get us out of this recession. Nonetheless, she still loves art and architecture so if you ever want to go to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, give her a ring and she’ll give you a free tour of the few paintings she knows. She sings a lot (in the shower), and she loves PennYo’s super-awesomeness so she joined the business team to help promote their already-super-popular concerts!
