We'll discuss what you would like to see from PGWISE this year, and some more-advanced graduate students will be on hand to share their experiences and offer advice on how to make the most of being a graduate student. Aug 17 \|BBQ After the hot summer we've had, this Wednesday, you can join Penn Graduate Women in Science and Engineering, Graduate Student Engineering Group, and Women in Chemistry for a cool event: a summer cookout! Crack open a beer, share some grilled food and chips, and chill out with Rita's water ice. What could be better on a Wednesday evening? July 20 \| Ice-Cream Social Come one, come all! PGWISE will host its first summer event--an ice-cream social! The event will be held in the Hayden-Chemistry Quad (in between the two buildings) from 3-4PM.
