This is a great opportunity for current graduate students and science alumnae to connect, and to share wisdom, experience, and passion about careers in science. We will announce the keynote speaker shortly. Thanks to AWE, GSEG, BGSA, SASgov and GAPSA, this event is free for all participants. So far, over 65 alumnae and graduate students from a broad range of industries, fields, and programs have registered to attend the luncheon.

Parking/Public Transit Information:
Penn is convenient to the SEPTA regional rail and the Market-Frankfort elevated line, as well as many bus lines. For stops, connections, and train times SEPTA plan-my-trip is helpful.
Abundant street parking is available along Walnut Street from 31st to 34th Streets, and along 33rd St from Spruce to Market. Current on-street parking rates are $2/hr, quarters or Philadelphia Smart Cards only. Most meters have been replaced with kiosks.
A map of Penn parking facilities can be found here. We suggest pay lots 1 and 19 as most convenient to Houston Hall. The parking fee is $5/day on Saturdays.
The closest free parking is available in Penn lot #45. To enter this lot, take Chestnut to 31st Street. Turn right on 31st Street; at the end of 31st Street, turn right on Jones Way, then an immediate left ( follow the signs for the Levy Tennis Pavilion/Bowers Field/WXPN parking). Drive along a fence-lined access road to the first right into Levy Tennis Pavilion. Turn left to reach lot #45. Stairs from the lot will bring you up next to Franklin Field.
