Advisor
Christopher Perez in a junior in the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business considering concentrations in finance and accounting. Having read about PIBV prior to coming to Penn, Chris was impressed with the club’s mission and joined immediately at the start of his freshman year. As a member of the project development committee he organized a summer trip to the City of Joy Foundation in Quintana Roo, Mexico. This NGO operates a complex of homes and centers providing a variety of services to the surrounding underprivileged community. PIBV assisted the City of Joy in measuring its impact and improving efficiency and management practices. Today Chris is focused on coordinating and implementing PIBV’s strategy as the club continues to grow. Chris has spent his summers assisting in research at the CIEF of the Tecnológico de Monterrey University in Mexico, working as an undergraduate consultant at the Wharton Small Business Development Center, and interning for the Deutsche Beteiligungs AG in Germany.
