Past Projects
The main focus of Penn International Business Volunteers is to make sustainable changes by providing consulting services to non-government organizations abroad. PIBV’s project scoping committee researches and contacts NGO’s abroad. To ensure the legitimacy of the trip, we ask a series of questions about structure and mission of the organization as well as the safety of the surrounding area. Over the past three summers, members of PIBV have worked with a total of six organizations in Guatemala, Honduras, Peru, and India in industries including education and vocational assistance, ecological stabilization, microfinance, and documentary film making.
