REMOTE Consulting

In light of globalization and, more specifically, the advances and accessibility of internet technology, we have begun to see that our students can make very important contributions to NGOs without ever leaving our campus. For this reason, we have decided to introduce Remote Consulting Services to NGOs in the Spring of 2009, an especially good option for willing and capable students who are unable to participate on an international summer trip due to either time and/or financial constraints. We envision a team of 5 undergraduate students and 1 graduate, faculty member, or professional mentor setting up a series of meetings throughout the semester with a particular NGO, with the students working on various deliverables throughout the term. This Spring will be the first time we offer remote consulting services, and we will use it as a pilot study to assess long-term value and feasibility for future years.

If you are willing to have PIBV consult for your NGO remotely, please download and fill out our NGO remote application form and send it to pibv.projects@gmail.com by November 1, 2008.
