Stephanie talked about some of our future events and we discussed how to get started in research. Both are are included in the powerpoint below.
Thanks to all those who particiated in the walk and/or helped out at our hot cocoa fundraiser. We raised and donated $121 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma society.
Diana moderated a discussion on cancer research as a part of our Science Discussion Series and we talked about some upcoming events.
Our vice president, Anita, moderated a discussion on stress management. PWBS is forming various committees to help with planning for future events to allow members to have more imput in our club. We will send out an email with the signup sheet. We concluded with physician shadowing signup.
Thanks to all those who attended and made our fundraiser such a success. We raised $350 and will get 20% of the proceeds.
We talked about future events and our Sisters in Science program. We also gave tips on how to do well in science classes. Details are in the Powerpoints.
