HEAR WHAT THE RECORDED A CAPPELLA REVIEW BOARD HAD TO SAY ABOUT OUR 2008 CD, MY BOYFRIEND WILL LOSE THIS:
"My Boyfriend Will Lose This is a good title. It's a little sexy, a little arrogant, a little bit of a challenge. In short, it's got guts.
So do the best songs on this disc.
Alexa Nickeson kicks things up a notch on My Heart, six tracks in and the first number that
made me sit up and listen. Her solo gets the song in gear and leads the group into a nicely
cohesive performance. Two tracks later, Your Guardian Angel competes for and perhaps wins
the honor of best track on the disc, with its twin leads and good feel. Man In the Hall
also deserves mention in the best-of list. Soloist Katie Heaberlin sings the hook and
keeps the song swinging. The Quaker Notes have a lot going for them, and I look forward
to seeing where they take it next.-- Rebecca Christie

Whether you want to hire us, purchase our CD, or you're
just curious as to where we'll pop up next, everything you need to know
is right here.
For starters, QN is University of Pennsylvania's premier
nationally acclaimed all-female a cappella group. We have a fascinating
history behind us, and a lot of wonderful ladies who've come and gone.
But mostly we're all about singing and having a good time. Unlike the
other groups at Penn, we like to sing a wide variety of music to showcase
the individual talents of our members. Each QN is a very unique and interesting
character. As result we can cater to any type of audience as well as any
type of potential member. Our repertoire spans from 80's to Modern Rock
to Motown to Jazz Standards. We're open to anything; we even sing the
Star Spangled Banner and many versions of Happy Birthday.
Now that you've gotten an idea as to who we are, feel
free to get know us even better. We'll
be seeing you soon!
