University Council Seat Award

The Nominations and Elections Commitee (NEC) have awarded the Student Activities Council (SAC) a seat on the University Council (UC) for the 02-03 academic year.

The prestigious opportunity to represent our constituents furthers both SAC's 02-03 priority outline and will similtaneously allow for the interaction between the administration and other student leaders on campus, which will ultimately better the University as a whole. The purpose of the UC is to advise to President & Provost. SAC appreciates this award and will fulfill our duties to the best of our ability.

Fiscal Year 02-03 SAC Executive Committee Priority Outline

SAC Exec-Com recently released its FY 02-03 Priority Outline detailing a plan of action & improvement to be implemented over the next 12 months. Feel free to submit comments to the Chairman, Simon Bland.

In this regard, SAC Exec-Com has been divided into "think-tanks" and will be looking for input, advice and assistance from the SAC General Body. Each executive committee member has been assigned a priority as shown in the outline. Each Exec-Com member will need approximately 4-5 members from the General Body to help in achieving the goal. Now is your chance to participate in student government and to let yourself and your group be heard! Email us if you're interested. Its up to you to make the difference.
