Bio:

A 1996 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Len Donato has successfully navigated the desire to practice exotics medicine while still pursuing ownership and clinical responsibilities for a small animal general practice. In addition to being the owner/veterinarian of the Radnor Veterinary Hospital in Wayne, PA, he also serves as veterinarian for The Schuylkill Center's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia, PA and the House Rabbit Society of Southeastern PA. Dr. Donato sits as a member on the Board of Health for Radnor Township in Delaware County, PA; he has lectured at many AAV conferences and Penn Vet Special Species Symposia, and continues to give talks about exotics in private practice at the Veterinary School.

Lecture Description:

Dr. Donato will educate attendees on the basics of treating reptile patients. The concepts of husbandy, identifying illness, examination, restraint, and guiding the clients through illness will be the focus.
