The 2010 Special Species Symposium will be held at the University of Pennsylvania April 09 - April 11, 2010
Registration is Now Closed.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR REGISTRATION:
Please note, because space is limited, symposium registration is initially available for veterinary students only.
Veterinary technicians and veterinarians can contact one of the Regisration Co-Chairs and
will be placed on the Registration Wait List.
- The Keynote Address will take place during the banquet on Saturday and is included in the registration fee.
- We will provide each student with 2 wetlabs minimum and a maximum of 4 wetlabs and we will do the best to accomodate so that each person gets at least one of their top 3 choices
- Depending on registrant numbers, we will consider opening duplicate wetlabs if necessary.
- Some of our labs are dependent on getting strandings, etc. in which case we cannot promise that the wetlab will take place (marine mammal, sea turtle)...we'll try our best!
- Please bring lab coats and dissection kits for all necropsy labs.
- Additionally, registration includes the Symposium Banquet on Saturday, April 10 as part of the registration fee.
- Housing is provided for visiting veterinary students on a 1st come 1st serve basis with volunteer Penn students. Please indicate at registration whether you would like us to make these arrangements. We will do our best to accomodate all students, but cannot guarantee accomodations. Those who are accomodated will be housed for Friday and Saturday night.
