Dr. Chris Montgomery is a member of the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine graduating Class of 2001. He has spent six years in private practice, starting with a year in Richmond VA and then moving to Philadelphia, where he has lived and worked since. In private practice, Dr. Montgomery's focus was Avian and Exotics, with a heavy load of small animal surgery and emergency medicine. He served as Assistant Professor at Delaware Valley College in the animal science department for 2 semesters. Currently, Dr. Montgomery is juggling his time among being the Zoo Medicine Resident at the Philadelphia Zoo, an Adjunct Professor at Delaware Valley College Department of Biotechnology and Conservation/Zoo Sciences, and an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University College of Medicine-Laboratory Animal Sciences.
