PROPS DESIGNERThe responsibilities of the Props Master/Mistress include getting any props called for in the script including hand held objects, magic wands, and furniture. This is basically everything not covered by the Costume Mistress or the Tech Director. The Props Master/Mistress is also responsible for taking care of these props over the course of a tech week and being on call should a replacement be necessary.
