	Spring '98 *Ti Jack Finds A Special Purpose* Written by Benjamin Berman April 3-5, Houston Hall Auditorium Ti Jack Finds A Special Purpose is about a boy, ti Jack, (ti, pronounced 'tee' means little in French-Canadian) who decides it's about time to find some meaning in his life. His father gives him a book to guide him through his adventures in finding his special purpose. So ti Jack asks the things that surround him what their purposes are in hopes of finding his own. He asks his Superman comic book, a tree, a germ that he sneezes out, a poem, a dream, the evil monster-under-the-bed and finally his own reflection in the mirror, before understanding what his purpose is. The play is written in metric rhyme (each character has their own rhyme scheme). Some have even been so bold to say that ti Jack is based upon Jack Kerouac and the red book that guides him could be Salinger's masterpiece.
