Our 2008-2009 season was a very successful one. We were so
excited to welcome five new swimmers to our team this
year, and these five along with the four returning members
combined for an amazing season. We competed in six
different meets, including Collegiate Nationals in San
Antonio, TX, where we placed 17th overall as a team.
Additionally, freshman Danielle Qing found her way to the
podium with a 12th place finish in D Figures. This season,
junior Lizzie Flanagan qualified in the solo event to US
Senior Nationals at Stanford University. She is the first
Penn swimmer to qualify for this competition.
We
hope to have our entire roster returning for the 2009-2010
season and are looking forward to recruiting new members
and helping our team to grow even more and be even more
successful next season.
