Seth Rochlin

Position: Coach

Penn Men's Volleyball: Seth Rochlin began his first season coaching the men's club volleyball team in the spring of 2012.

Penn Women's Volleyball: Seth Rochlin enters his second season as member of the Penn women's volleyball coaching staff after helping the Red and Blue to an Ivy League championship in 2010. After serving as the program's second assistant in 2010, he was promoted to the top assistant position prior to the 2011 campaign.

In his first season he helped guide the Quakers to their second straight Ivy League with a 12-2 record in league play and also earned the team's second consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Previous: A 2008 graduate of the University of Arizona, Rochlin came to Philadelphia in 2010 after serving as the head coach for both the boys' and girls' volleyball programs at his high school alma mater, Rincon (Ariz.) High School), from 2008-10. In his first year at the helm, he was named the region's girls' coach of the year, and in 2009 he led the boys to a runner-up finish in the 4A/5A Division II Championship. Rochlin started out as an assistant in 2004 at Rincon, working with both the boys and girls.

While working at Rincon, Rochin attended Arizona and played one season as a member the Wildcats' Division III club volleyball team. In addition to playing, he also worked as a four-year coach for Arizona's women's club team, which reached the 2006 Division II Championship final.

Rochlin has also coached at the club level, leading the Zona Volleyball Club's U18 Region Team during the 2008-09 season and also serving as head coach of the U14 girls' team at the Club Cactus Volleyball Club from 2004-2006.

Personal: In addition to coaching, Rochlin worked as a consultant for Global Solar Energy based in Tucson. He graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Engineering Management from Arizona in 2008.
