We are excited to continue hosting post-competition workshops. Although the information below is still tentative, please plan to stay in town on Sunday morning (Feb. 17th, 2019) to come take a workshop with renowned instructors and dancers Emanuele Pappacena and/or Ruslan Wilder.
Emanuele Pappacena's workshop will begin at 12:00 PM and last one hour.
Ruslan Wilder's workshop will begin at 1:00 PM and last one hour.
If you sign up in advance, each workshop costs $15 to attend, or $25 for both workshops.
If you do not sign up in advance, each workshop costs $20 to attend, or $30 for both workshops.
The location for the workshops is Bodek Lounge in Houston Hall, 3417 Spruce St, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
Francesca Lazzari, Emanuele Pappacena, Ruslan Wilder, and Slavik Legkovenko will be holding private lessons from 2:15pm until 6:00pm.
Private lessons with Francesca Lazzari or Emanuele Pappacena cost $95.
Private lessons with Ruslan Wilder cost $100.
Private lessons with Slavik Legkovenko cost $80.
Please pay the instructors directly the day of the lesson.
Emanuele Pappacena and Francesca Lazzari
From Italy, Emanuele and Francesca were trained as International Latin and Standard dancers and look back on an accomplished career, having performed at such illustrious competitions as the Blackpool in England. Now dancing for the US, they continue to compete Nationally and Internationally, most recently adding to their success with a US Open 3rd place finish in 10 Dance, US Open 2nd place finish in Classic Showdance, and a stunning 3rd place finish in 2013 WDC World Championship Classic Showdance.

Russ is a professional ballroom dancer with over 25 years’ experience within the DanceSport industry. Russ was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia. He began his dance career at the age of 6. He has been enrolled in several different dance studios including St. Petersburg Youth Palace for Arts where he originally met his dance partner and now-wife Katusha, where she had been dancing since age 5. At the age of 14 he and his family moved to the US where he continued his education. In addition to being a Professional Ballroom/Latin dancers Russ holds a BS from Kennesaw State University majoring in Communication Media Studies, TV and Radio Broadcasting.

Slavik is a professional ballroom dancer with over 30 years’ experience within the DanceSport industry. He is the former owner of one of the top dance studios in the Ukraine, where he trained dancers who went on to win national and international championships, including Ukrainian National Championnships, Blackpool Dance Festival, The International Championships, World Championship (France) and other top competitions. As a dancer himself, he has been the Ukranian national champion in Professional Latin on numerous occasions, semi-finalist at the European Championship (Moscow), and semi-finalist at the 2012 World Championship in Paris.
