Ms. Cora Ingrum is the Director of Multicultural Programs at the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the
University of Pennsylvania. She directs school programs aimed at recruiting and retaining minority students, faculty and staff.

Camille Davis, Lydia Atangcho, Samantha Jones, Oladayo Adewole

Henok Abraham is a junior this year majoring in Bioengineering and minoring in Entrepreneurship. He joined NSBE freshman year and it provided great resources for academic success and professional development. Most importantly NSBE had a welcoming family-like environment and he hopes to add to that this year by taking on more responsibility. He plays Sprint Football and he is also a huge sports fan, all Philly teams.

Marissa Thompson is a senior at Penn majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. She is from Ann Arbor, Michigan. She has been involved in NSBE since her freshman year of college, and is also a member of the Penn club basketball team and the Penn club field hockey team. She hopes to one day earn a PhD and teach Biomedical engineering. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports, writing, sailing, climbing, and giving back to the community.

Jamie Howard is a senior in Bioengineering from Upper Marlboro, MD. He has been an active member of NSBE since his freshmen year and started to serve the board his sophomore year. Jamie enjoys watching all sports (except baseball) and enjoys playing FIFA when he is not studying for exams. He is also an RA in Fisher Hassenfeld College House.

Gabriel Dreux is a sophomore majoring Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with a minor in Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies. She is from Fairfax, Virginia. Her goal for this year is to include alumni, family and friends more involved in what our NSBE chapter is doing. She enjoys cooking, reading, running and watching movies.

Leonard Nettey is a senior hailing from Toronto, Canada. He is majoring in Chemistry and Biochemistry in the hopes of pursuing a career in medical research. Through NSBE, Leonard aims to measurably increase Philadelphia communities' exposure to STEM and blacks in engineering. He spends most of his free time cooking, doing MRI research at the Perelman School of Medicine, and wishing he had more free time.

Justin Gonsalves is a junior from Montclair, New Jersey, majoring in mechanical engineering. He became a member of NSBE at the beginning of spring semester his freshman year. His goal is to bridge the gap between NSBE members and companies through the corporate sponsors, in order to help NSBE members obtain internships.

Shané Winner is a sophomore studying Systems Engineering. She isfrom Trinidad and Tobago and loves to engage in outdoor activities, play sports ,and watch lots of movies and shows on Netflix. As fundraising chair she wishes to raise funds through outreach to alumni and by executing fundraising ventures in an attempt further develop and support our NSBE chapter. This year, she hopes to utilize all that NSBE has to offer to develop both the academic and personal aspects of her life.

Jordan Buie is a junior pursuing a Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Bioengineering with a concentration in entrepreneurship. His hometown is St. Paul, Minnesota, where he lived 6 years before attending UPenn. As fundraising chair he hopes to provide a constant structure of organization dealing with upcoming internal and external events, alumni relations and networking, as well as adding depth in our participation within fundraising events as well as expanding on our possibilities we take into consideration for said events. His outside hobbies and interest include social justice and urban studies, STEM education initiatives in West Philadelphia schools as well as astronomy, anime and exercising.

Brittany Phillips is a sophomore majoring in computer science and minoring in engineering entrepreneurship. She is from Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to NSBE, she is a member of the Tau Gamma chapter of the Theta Tau Engineering Fraternity, Women in Computer Science, and the Society of Women Engineers. She loves watching movies in her free time. As publications chair, she hopes to effectively manage social networking to increase connections within the Penn community for our chapter.

Sylvester Tate is a member of the class of 2017 from Olive Branch, MS, right outside of Memphis, TN. He is also a member of the Theta Tau Engineering Fraternity and Penn Faith and Action. In his free time he enjoys watching football, bowling, and even writing a little poetry every once in a while. He is an aspiring computer engineer who hopes to one day conduct research in the field of artificial intelligence.

Moses Adenaike is a senior majoring in Chemistry. He has been part of NSBE since spring of freshman year. He feels greatly honored to be this year’s PCI chair and hopes to do great things for Penn PCI. NSBE has become a big part of Moses’ life. He believes that every opportunity and success that he has experienced professionally was largely because of the undying devotion of his mentors. He intends to bring this same devotion to PCI this year. One of Moses’ passions is research: he intends to sub-matriculate, earning his M.S. degree here at Penn and then obtain a doctoral degree afterwards. Moses would just like everyone to know that he is 2 HYPE! For this year and hopes to reach many kids through PCI!

Wesley Pennycooke is a sophomore studying Bioengineering here at Penn. Home is the town of Baldwin which is in the suburbs of Long Island, New York. This year as membership chair he hopes to broaden NSBE's horizons as well as create a welcoming and engaging family that will eventually foster black excellence for our members across all majors. He is sure that with the help of my fellow board members we can truly have an engaging and successful year. His main hobbies outside of academics would have to be table tennis, soccer and staying active in general.
